Video: The Story of the White House Garden

Okay I love the White House Garden too... but I do just want to call out Michelle Obama for looking so gosh darn glamorous while she's out in the garden in this video. I mean I get super dirty and fugly when I'm out gardening so I can't help but think that if you are looking that good working in the dirt, chances are good it's just a photo op.

About Tierra Rural

Marci and Lila met 20 years ago while in second grade in Red Bluff, California. Since leaving the small community they grew up in they have both followed different paths and had the opportunity to live in more urban places. Though, as time has passed they found themselves continuing to value a small town way of life. This blog is their conversation on pursuing lives that appreciate and find value in the simple joys. Marci and Lila have gone from two friends who used to meet on the playground, to two friends who will meet up here at Tierra Rural.
