And today was the first day I actually saw food growing in my garden, that's right I actually have little baby tomatoes on the vine. Very exciting!
It's surprising, my dad's a huge gardener (not food, only flowers) but I never, never had an interest in it. Gardening always seemed so slow to me and yet now that I'm giving it a shot I can't believe how quickly gardens grow and change. Every single day I'm excited to get home from work just to see what has changed in the garden. Is something popping up from the soil? Will I now start to see actual food to harvest in my garden? Has the dog taken out another plant? So that last one is not a great one to come home to but it still is incredible how everyday something new has happened in my little backyard garden space.
